JULY 5th, 2012 - CITY OF BEE CAVE DOG PARK IS NOW OPEN!

APRIL 10th, 2012 - CITY OF BEE CAVE DOG PARK CLOSED

The water quality pumps located in the dog park pond are not working. We will be pulling the pumps to rebuild them and make necessary repairs. While the dog park is closed, we will also be performing weed abatement treatment. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Please contact the City with additional questions or concerns.

OCTOBER 29th - COYOTE NOTICE IN CENTRAL PARK

The City of Bee Cave reminds visitors to the Central Park that coyotes have been observed recently.  Coyotes are wild animals and potentially dangerous; they are very capable of killing prey, especially when they cooperatively hunt.  Coyotes and other wild animals should never be fed or approached too closely, for the protection of park visitors and the animals themselves.  Be especially wary when walking small dogs and be sure to always keep your dogs leashed.  Please contact the City of Bee Cave Administration Offices at 512-767-6610 with questions or for additional information.

SEPTEMBER 15th, 2010 – CENTRAL PARK DISC GOLF COURSE

The Disc Golf Course that was included in the design of the Bee Cave Central Park will not be completed.  This unfortunate circumstance is due in part to applicable State and Federal guidelines that govern access to the course tee boxes.  We apologize to the avid enthusiasts who have waited patiently for the course to open to the public while we actively pursued compliance and resolution to this complex issue.

News Release July 21, 2009

The City of Bee Cave held a dedication and recognition ceremony at the Central Park on Saturday, July 18, 2009.  The Mayor and City Council, along with members of the Economic Development Board and Planning & Zoning Commission, thanked everyone involved for their efforts.   The City of Bee Cave understands how important this impressive amenity is and how anxious everyone is to see it open.  Unfortunately, and due primarily to the drought conditions affecting Central Texas, the Bee Cave Central Park must remain closed to the public for the time being to allow native and seeded grasses to take root before the Park opens officially.  The contractors are working diligently to fulfill their contract by completing the remaining punch list items. We estimate the Central Park will be open to the public in the Fall of 2009.  Thank you for your patience.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE.
